Cardly is an AI-powered flashcard generation tool that allows users to convert study notes into flashcards. The Service is provided "as is" and may change at any time.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You agree not to use the Service to upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
Free accounts are limited to 3 deck generations per calendar month. These limits may change at any time with reasonable notice.
The flashcards generated from your notes are yours. Cardly does not claim ownership over your content. The Cardly application, branding, and underlying technology remain our property.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Cardly is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or study materials.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We collect your email address when you sign up. We store the flashcard decks you generate so you can access them later. We do not collect payment information directly; that is handled by Stripe.
Your email is used to authenticate your account and send transactional emails (such as email confirmation). Your deck data is used solely to provide the Service to you.
Your notes are sent to an AI API to generate flashcards. We do not store your raw notes. Only the generated flashcards are saved.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (Supabase for database hosting, Stripe for payments).
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data including decks is permanently deleted within 30 days.
We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app. For other requests, contact us at hello@studywithcardly.com.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections and secure authentication. However, no system is completely secure.

Cardly started as a personal project. We were tired of spending hours turning lecture notes into flashcards by hand, so we built a tool that does it in seconds.
We're a small team of engineering students who wanted a smarter way to study. Cardly is the tool we wished existed when we were cramming for exams.
We built it lean, kept it simple, and made it affordable. No bloat, no unnecessary features. Just paste your notes and get to studying.
